Faithful first. Fluent second.

Dictation should help you express yourself, not turn your words into someone else’s meaning.

Your final meaning comes first.

Speech includes hesitation and self-correction. Onetake is designed to preserve your final intent, facts, conditions, negation and uncertainty, without adding claims for the sake of fluency.

This is a product principle, not a promise of zero errors. The result still needs your review.

It writes. You decide.

Onetake is a dictation tool. It does not translate, answer questions you dictate, send messages or carry out external tasks. After it attempts to insert the text where you started, you review it and decide what comes next.

When something fails, don’t pretend it worked.

Unclear audio, a service failure and an unconfirmed insertion are different outcomes. If recognized text is available, editing can fall back to it. Recovery or retry depends on the result or recording still being available.
